Payment

After Thursday, 30th June 2022, a late booking fee of 20€ is added to the registration fee.
Registration deadline: Wednesday, 31st August 2022.

Registration fees

Together with the IMC registration form, the full IMC registration fee together with supplements for T-shirt (6€), printed posters (10€) and printed proceedings (20€) must be paid. The IMC registration fee is either:

  • 245€ - Shared double or multiple room in the IMC host (the price was 225€ before Thu, 30 June 2022)
    Standard accommodation in a double or multiple room for 3 nights (only) with full board + participation in the conference, conference materials, coffee breaks and excursion (price per person).
  • 370€ - Single room in the IMC host (the price was 350€ before Thu, 30 June 2022)
    Accommodation in a single room for 3 nights (only) with full board + participation in the conference, conference materials, coffee breaks and excursion. Limited availability: only 8 single rooms are available.
  • 120€ - No accommodation (the price was 100€ before Thu, 30 June 2022)
    All meals except breakfasts + participation in the conference, conference materials, coffee breaks and excursion. (You can find information on extra accommodation in Poroszló here here.)
  • 0€ - Online participation to the conference through Zoom

The registration fees include full board (accommodation, breakfast, lunch, and dinner) from September 29th (dinner included) till October 2nd afternoon (lunch included), IMC lectures, conference materials, coffee breaks, excursion and Saturday evening program.

Mind that registration may have to be closed earlier if full capacity is reached before the registration deadline. The total number of participants is limited to 95, on a first-come first-served basis. Because the conference room can accommodate 120 persons, an extra 25 persons can be registered as non-accommodation participants. They need to seek lodging elsewhere (please contact us for suggested hotels).

Be aware that you are responsible for finding suitable accommodation as well transportation to and from the conference venue if you choose the “no-accommodation” option. Please read what is written about this on the Venue page.

T-shirts and printed proceedings can be purchased upon registering at an additional charge.

Accompanying persons sharing a room with a participant must also register as a participant.

Payment

You can pay in one of the following ways:

1. PayPal payments or credit card Payments through PayPal

For credit or debit card payments we use the services of PayPal. However, PayPal charges us a fee for each transaction. Because we try to keep the conference fee as low as possible, we are obliged to charge this cost to participants paying with PayPal. If you pay with PayPal, please make sure that you transfer the amount due including costs. You will find the total amount due including PayPal costs on your registration confirmation. To pay, click the PayPal logo on the confirmation screen you will see after registration or the PayPal logo below to be redirected to their secure website to complete the payment. Your payment will be made to the IMO (payment@imo.net).

2. International bank transfer

International bank transfer payments should be made to:

When paying, make sure that the IBAN account number and BIC bank code are both mentioned! Always contact your local bank to verify charges for international transfers, which are at the participant’s expense.

Transfers in Euro from an EU member state or another EEA country (Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein) should be free, however, or at least no more expensive than a domestic bank transfer, provided they are done correctly.

3. Other payment methods

If you cannot use either the international bank transfer or the PayPal service, please contact the IMO Treasurer for instructions.

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy for the IMC 2022 is as follows:

  • Until Thursday, June 30th 2022: full reimbursement, except for 15€ administrative costs.
  • Between Friday, July 1st 2022 and Wednesday, August 31st 2022 : partial reimbursement of half of the registration fee;
  • After Wednesday, August 31st 2022: no reimbursement.
COVID-19 Info

We hope that the IMC 2022 in Hungary can take place as planned, on September 29 – October 2, though this of course depends on the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic and related policies. Please bring your vaccination certificate with you.
We encourage people to register for the conference. The following guarantees may be of help:

  1. In case the IMC 2022 is canceled due to COVID-19, all participants will get a total refund.
  2. If travel between a participant’s country and Hungary is not allowed at the time of the IMC, the participant will get a total refund.
